Mr Mervyn B (Masson House, Edinburgh, September 2017): We didn't know what to expect, staying in an university, but we were presently surprised with the standard and quality of the over all experience. It felt more like a hotel, than an university. The breakfast was wonderful. A great choice of self service, plus cooked breakfast was beautifully cooked. All the staff, including reception, restaurant and cleaners were all very helpful and polite.

Anything you could possibly want. Short walk to bus stop. Staff very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I highly recommend this as an alternative to a hotel.

They were well informed about the area, facilities and amenities available and overall it was an excellent location for catching buses to the city centre and for getting to know Edinburgh. I would highly recommend this as good value for money accommodation with an excellent buffet breakfast.
