Thanks a million and I will be back!"Stunning place, clean, old school perfection! Breakfast amazing but I must do this right as it were, so- I tried to find dust anywhere including tops of picture frames and dado rails not cause I'm ignorant but because I was in such disbelief at the perfection I am luck to see in a day where slap dash will do,,, nothing! No dust not even a spec anywhere and god I tried! The bed sheets were folded so symmetrical I felt bad getting into bed! No truly I near measured it but realized there was no point as they were so perfectly done! The furniture is lovely, the lavatory stunning with even nail scissors cotton buds in fact twenty things you just need! Damn even the tea bags are good ones! Simply an amazing place you just cannot find out there. I simply had to take the time to write this review and still I'm not doing it justice. I just cannot fault the place. Even the most cynical annoying person I dare to find fault! Thanks a million and I will be back!!"

As long as there is a room available, we wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Edinburgh. It is convenient for the City, close to Arthur's Seat and very comfortable. Breakfast is excellent."

Gifford House is located in a non-central area of Edinburgh but well connected to the center thanks to the bus which stops less than 100 meters away. The accommodation is in perfect Victorian style, with carpeted floors and very neat and tidy bedrooms. A Scottish / English breakfast cooked to order is served each morning, plus cereals, snacks, yoghurt and fresh fruit are available for all people. All perfect!! Highly recommended!!" The Best B&B! We loved Gifford House!“The Best B&B! We loved Gifford House! Our room was large and looked onto a back garden and Arthur’s Seat. Our host was very accommodating, he helped us with bus routes, where to go, where to have dinner, he just knew everything. He also let us use his phone to call our credit card company. He and his wife went out of their way to be helpful! Breakfast was fantastic and there was a large selection of jams and fruits and we just stuffed ourselves.. scrambled eggs were perfectly cooked.
